Bio
Paul Corris is Professor of Thoracic Medicine at the School of Clinical Medical Sciences, University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He is also Director of the Lung Research in Immunobiology program and the Transplantation Research Group.
His research interests include pulmonary vascular disease and the basic and clinical science of lung transplantation. His group is studying mechanisms leading to airway remodelling following lung transplantation.
As steering committee member of the International Study group, his main clinical interest is organising multicentre clinical studies.
