Bio
Yves Beguin is Medical Director of the Laboratory of Cellular Therapy and Professor of Haematology and Head of the Haematology Division at the University of Liège in Belgium. Dr Beguin obtained his medical degree from the University of Liège in 1982 and his PhD in 1991.
His research interests include haematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, in addition to iron metabolism, erythropoiesis and factors governing the erythropoietic response to the use of erythropoietin in patients with cancer.
